·         To rest and get better over a period of time after an illness
-The doctor suggested to me to convalesce for a month after the surgery.

·         Extremely thin and week because of illness, lack of food etc.
-The children in Africa are emaciated because of lack of food.

-irritable ( adjective )
·         Becoming angry easily
-Sam is such an irritable person.

-ought ( modal verb )
·         Used to say something that somebody should do
- ‘You ought to visit your parent more often,’ said Sarah to her friend.
·         Used to say what should happen or what you expect
-They ought to be here by 9 o’clock in the morning.
·         Used for asking for and giving advice about what to do
-You ought to read the novel because it is really interesting.

-ruthless ( adjective )
·         Hard and cruel. Determine to do something without showing pity to others
-The dictator of the country is really ruthless.

The dictator of that country was really ruthless and irritable. He didn’t concern to his people at all although they were emaciated because of lack of food. He ought that he would be a fabulous leader of the country by being ruthless. On June 1809, he was shoot and one of his leg was already in the grave. He undergo a surgery. After that, the doctor suggested to him to convalesce for three month because he was severely injured due to that incident.
