but, after more than 120 years lastly the scientists  have found the real criminal. if you realized, he is already being suspected a long time ago. but due to the lack of evidence the policeman can't arrest him. with all the technologies nowadays, the mystery is solved! they found that Aaron Kosminski is the real jack The Ripper.

THE GREAT GATSBY

this movie is actually being adapted from a novel written by an American author,  F. Scott Fitzgerald. it is about a young and mysterious millionaire Jay Gatsby who really obsesses at Daisy Buchanan. Jay Gatsby always hold an extravagant parties but he never joined it. 

Nick Carraway is Daisy's cousin.  one day, he attends to her house for dinner. he is being introduce to Jordan Baker and she reveal that Tom, Daisy's husband has a mistress. the important event in this movie begins when Nick has been invited to one of Gatsby's party. he manages to meet Gatsby personally with the help from Jordan Baker.

Gatsby holds all that luxurious party are just to impress Daisy and hope one day she will appear again at his doorstep. at the middle of the movie's plot, Gatsby has success to reunite back with Daisy and they begin an affair. Daisy does not even hesitate to tell her husband that she is in love with Gatsby. so, tom decided to confront Gatsby. He reveals to Daisy that Gatsby is involve in illegal activities. after that, out of sudden, Daisy realized that her allegiance is to Tom.

after that, sadly Gatsby is taking the blame on Daisy's behalf for killing Myrtle. because of that, myrtle's husband assumes that he is his wife's lover. so, he goes to meet Gatsby and fatally shoots Gatsby and himself. after that Nick willingly do a small funeral for Jay Gatsby, his friend.

for some reasons, i really think that this quote is actually being directed specially to Jay Gatsby. it is because maybe for Gatsby, Daisy is his everything. so at the moment she leave him, it just like his whole world fall apart. 

i really believe that Gatsby is being involve in all those illegal activities because of his love toward Daisy. so, i feel sympathy to Gatsby because Daisy easily broke the promise that they made a long time ago by marrying Tom. Next, even after all what Gatsby has done to make her happy,  she doesn't even appreciate his effort and Gatsby can't do anything about that. 

on top of that, i also think that Daisy is someone who is materialistic. you know why? just think the reason why she choose Tom instead of Gatsby who is undoubtedly love her? i think it is because when she knows that all Gatsby's fortune comes from the illegal activities, she thinks that one day maybe all the fortune will disappear when his crime is being uncovered. thus, she choose Tom who is truly rich man even though he cheats on her. i think when she is already get tired of all that and she is already an old woman then, she will realize that she actually need a true love. Money can't bring the happiness.

# before i end i just want to share the meaning of  "OLD SPORT"

“Old sport” is Gatsby's catchphrase that will be constantly repeated throughout the novel. It is associated typically with England and aristocratic old money, something Gatsby strives to be associated with.

CHUCKY ( o_O )

Curse Of Chucky. it is a movie that i watched with my friends while waiting for a suitable time for us to go to the bus station. on that day, all KKTM Ledang's students need to clear the college since there was a program held there which was Indian International Sport      ( SUKIM ).

what i can conclude from this horror movie is revenge will only continue the hatred in your heart. even though i'm so scared when i watched this movie, but still  i need to find something meaningful behind that. hehe..

so, based on this fearsome movie Chucky is actually a doll that has been possessed by a spirit of a man. his spirit can't rest peacefully because he was rejected by the woman that he love before he died. thus, in order to get revenge to that woman and all her family, he possessed that doll.

because of hatred that has been overflowing in his heart, he become such a cruel killer. it is really horrible for something apparently look so angelic is actually an evil. after he had killed the woman that had rejected himself, he also venting his anger to all the people that lived in that house. so, basically it clearly shows that once you have the intention to revenge, the hatred in your heart will not disappear even you have killed that person. it will just continue for the rest of your life and eventually it will turn you into a terrible person.

the best 'revenge' that you can do is shows to that person that you can life better than herself'/himself. i believe that it will make the person that had make you heartbreak will feel guilty toward you. so, in the end he/she will seek forgiveness from you. at that time, it is your job to forgive them since they have regret on what they did to you. So, in my point of view it is just like a win-win situation where both party can get the benefit from that incident. 

so, please live happily yaa... 

THE KING'S SPEECH..

King George VI who suffer a stammer when to meet  Lionel Logue, an Australian speech and language therapist. Both of them become friend in order to cure King George VI disease after his brother abdicates the throne. King George VI totally relies on Logue to help him make his first wartime radio broadcast on Britain's declaration of war on Germany in 1939.

this watching material really help me as a student, it is because this movie is actually based on the true historical event. as madpp student, we need to take SAT examination. it really helpful because in our essay, we need to include some interesting information from history, current issues, personal experience and etc. so, i manage to include this event a few times n my essay and I get quite a good mark.

other than being beneficial for me, i also learn that we need to believe in ourselves. being embarrass with ourselves doesn't solve even a single of our problem. it just make you feel to give up in everything you do without putting any effort before that. thus, i think that by believing in ourselves it eventually make  us more committed in everything we does because we know we can do it. we do not need to compare ourselves with other because everyone have their own strength and uniqueness. :)

PREDESTINATION_MIND BLOWN

do yo know why i mention ' MIND BLOWN' ? it is because i feel like my brain is gonna explode when i finished this movie. it is something that you need to used all your neurotransmitter in order to connect all the events in that movie to become something that can be understand. for me the ending of this movie is quite surprising since it is not something that i expected.

" TO SAVE THE FUTURE HE MUST RESHAPE THE PAST "

it starts when John is telling a story about his life to a bartender that he feels comfortable with. before i continue, what i will tell after this might become a spoiler for those who still did not watch it yet. John said he can write something from woman's perspective because actually he is a woman. it is really absurd at first for the bartender to believe it. even i think he is trying to make a joke. but he tells how he life as a woman. he lived in orphanage as a strong girl named Jane. he always fight with his friends. when he become a teenager, unfortunately, he is impregnated by a mysterious man. during the child's birth there are complications and the doctor found that Jane is intersex. due to severe injuries at his female organ the doctor needs to remove it. that is how he become a man named John.

after Jane has successfully gave birth to her baby, she named the baby as Jane but unfortunately, her baby got stolen. after that, he starts his new life as John and become a writer under the name of Unmarried Mother.

the thing that make me really surprise is when I discovered that he is his own mother and father. it doesn't even match with my expectation. it is because with the help of that bartender he travels back to the time where he is still a young woman. he wants to find the mysterious man who impregnated himself. but, everything does not goes well when he eventually fall in love with Jane ( his younger self ). actually, he is the one who impregnated Jane. it is really impossible.. and after that it shows that Barman, the bartender is the one who stole Jane's baby and brought her to orphanage,

that is one of the intertwined predestination paradox that has been revealed. Barman ( bartender ), John, Jane, Unmarried Mother and the baby are the same person. the next intertwined predestination paradox is quite complicated but what i can summarize is all major characters in this movie are the same person but at different stage of his/her life.

this movie is really recommended especially for those who love to watch a movie that has the element of science fiction, thriller and mystery. if i have a chance to met the main character (i don't mind with whom i will meet since they all are the same person ), i would like to advice him/her to keep repeating the same mistake. it is because all of this happened because each of them are keep repeating their own mistake and they never learn from it. i think that we should learn from our mistake in order for us to become a better person in future. Let say, if John does not fall in love with Jane, the new Jane will not be created. Thus, this kind of cycle will stop.

i really believe that people usually learn more from their mistake rather than from their glory.

AN EDUCATION..

a sixteen-years old student who experience cultural shock

everything starts when Jenny, an excellent student who aims to go to Oxford is being seduce by David, a charming con man. Jenny has experience the cultural shock when she involve with negative activities like she starts to smoke and go clubbing. It eventually give a catastrophic effect not only on herself but also only her study. David has asked her to marry him and after that she decides to drop the school. unfortunately, she found that David is a married man. She is so sad and lastly she meets again with the favourite teacher. Her teacher has agreed to help her to study again since she already regrets on what she has done.

Before we start to watch this movie, we had been asked a few questions and we need to answer it in a piece paper. so, here is my answer :)

based on what my lecturer has said, these are some of the questions that we are supposed to think before we go to US. so, i think it is because we need to prepare ourselves physically and mentally. For the cultural shock problem, in my opinion it can be overcome if we know a little bit culture that we will face soon and we know who we are. so, everything is depends on ourselves. if we want to be a good person, then we will be a good person.

okay, what i can comment on this movie is actually i sympathize with Jenny. It is because her daily life is being controlled by her father. Her father dislike when she is doing something related to french. so,  think she is stressed by it and want to have freedom one day. Hence, I think that is the core reason why she likes to be with David since he encourages her to do what she likes and her father should be blame. 

but, when I realized that Jenny is matured enough to differentiate between good and bad things. thus, i believe all the problems that she faced after that is caused by her own decision. Don't put blame on other people. still, in the end i feel relieve when she discovers David a married man. It is because, if she marry him and drop the school,  I believe that will not have a good future. Education will help somebody to be acknowledge by other people and ensure his/her future. so, it is really good when she regret on what she has done and she has back the spirit to study again.

before I forgot, this is a British film. so, there are a few new terms that i discovered through out this movie. they are:-

• read English - it does not mean you are reading English. but it means you want to study English
• coloured people - it basically not referred to the white people
• teddy boy - based on the context this word has been used, i think it means coward.

so, in conclusion we must think wisely before we made a certain decision. it is because everything has its own pros and cons.

DO YOU HAVE ANY QUESTION ??

wah.. i really enjoy when i can spend my time to watch movie. it is because I can relax my mind from thinking all those complicated things.. heee... :D so, for this week I have choose to watch a movie called EXAM. I start to have interest to watch this movie when there are so many people are keep asking  "do you exam movie", "do you have exam movie". it somehow make my curious why so many people want to watch this movie?? Does it really good?? so, lastly i copied it from my roomate and watched it. so, here is my review  ^_^.

everything starts when there are 8 candidates compete to each other to win the ultimate job. when they have entered the exam room, the invigilator explained that the exam is 80 minutes and consists of only one question, but there are three rules they must obey:-

• they must not talk to the Invigilator or the armed guard at the door, 
• do not spoil their paper
• never leave the room until the exam finished

If they do, they will be disqualified. as the exam starts, all the candidate turn their exam paper and they found that it is just a blank paper. they are wandering, " what is the question ", " how to answer if there is no question". so, when they do not what to do anymore, one of them suggests to cooperate since it does not break the rule.

they use all the knowledge they have in order to reveal the hidden mysterious question. but, sadly when they are busy to find the question, out of sudden one of them are being disqualified. she has been betrayed. as the time passed by, they start to fight and accuse each other. they eventually have lost faith on their own comrades.

so, after I have finished this movie i realized that in order to achieve something we absolutely need the cooperation between ourselves and the people around us. from what i believe, when we work in group we might achieve more that we work alone. it is because when we have the interaction between other people, we can have the exchange of various of brilliant ideas. besides, the task that we get might be accomplished faster than we thought since the load are being divided equally among the group members. just imagine if we work alone, we need to think all the things by ourselves. i personally think, it is really stressful. just like Wonderpet who work together and eventually they succeed in everything they do.

but, i still want to mention even if we work in a team harmonically, if there is a betrayer nothing will go smoothly. the faith between the group member is one of the fundamental element in a teamwork. so, no matter who are our group members just have faith in them so that everything will go in the way that we want. Thus, say no to betrayal!

on top of that, i also realized that sometimes the answer of the question that we need to answer is already in front of our eyes. it just our problem not to realized it. hence, starting this point i'll always remind myself to focus in everything i do especially in my study. 

if i have a chance to ask the director on question, i want to asked this questions:-

why the CEO of the company also sit for the exam?

why he pretend not to know when all the candidate start to betray and hurt each other?

why the company conduct such a cruel exam?

it is because i don't think it is a good idea for the CEO to just there and do nothing while other candidates fight to each other. it is a waste since he might lose the best candidate due to that disputes. because it does not mean the last person who still survive is the best candidate. maybe she is just lucky enough to survive until the end. i might suggest to the CEO to make a more appropriate kind of examination. so nobody will lose anything or hurt.

FORREST GUMP...

For this week SOS class, we were watching a movie with a title Forrest Gump. Actually Forrest Gump is the name of the main character. this movie has been released in year of 1994 which means it is 3 years older than me.. it is also based on a novel that has the same name.

starring Tom Hanks, he has successfully played a a slow-witted and naïve, but good-hearted and athletically prodigious man from Alabama. he always being bullied and one day, his friend Jenny asks him to run as fast as he can in order to escape from the people who bully him. Surprisingly, he managed to run even though he wears braces around his legs.

after he become an adult, he join the United State Army and he befriends with Bubba, a former shrimp fisherman. they even agree to run shrimping business together once they end their service. unfortunately, Bubba dies when their platoon is ambushed.

so, after the movie ended the thing that i can conclude is there are 2 most significant aspect that have been portrayed in this movie, the first thing is the spirit to overcome the difficulties. as i can see, Forrest Gump has a strong will to escape by running especially when he is being supported by Jenny. So, i think it is just the same as my daily life. you know, it is because sometimes i feel down and depress when I can't get what i want since there are obstacle that i need to face, But, when there are people who are willingly motivate myself, i feel enthusiastic back in everything i do. Thus, in my opinion, the purpose of this movie is they want all the people to realized that we can overcome every obstacles in front of us if we believe in ourselves and we believe that we are not alone.

The second aspect that I think is significant is the friendship between the whites and blacks. from what i know there are different status between the black and the whites since the American Civil War. So, i think it is a bit confusing when I see the whites and the blacks can be a good  friends. after taking a few time to think about it, there is possibly that during that time ( the setting of the movie ) there are no more discrimination between them and they are being treated equally. seriously, I think it it is a very good idea in order to maintain the world's peace.

before I end this movie review, i really love to share a quote from this movie. i feel that the quote that i will share later is really beneficial not only to myself but to the other person too. you know why? because we never know what we will face in the future :)

47-RONIN

47-ronin is an American fantasy action film that portray a real-life group of masterless samurai who want to avenged the death of their lord. 

*masterless samurai is referred as ronin

it start when Kai who is half-japanese and half-english lives in Ako domain that has been rule by Lord Asano. when Kai is still young, Lord Asano found him in the forest and he accepted Kai into his household.

Lord Kira, the Shogun's master of ceremonies visits Lord Asano before the planned visit from Shogun. actually, Lord Kira wants to take Ako for himself with the help from a witch. at one night, that evil witch casts her magic to make Lord Asano attacks Lord Kira. then, he has been sentenced to death and Shogun gives both Ako domain and Mika to Lord Kira. he also forbid all the ronin from seeking vengeance for Asano's death.

a year after that, Oishi one of Asano's samurai knows that Kira is using witch's sorcery. then, with the help from his son, he try to reunite the scattered ronin. after they have reunited, Kai lead them to Tengu.Forest, a mystical placein order to get swords. after that, the battle between Lord Kira and all the ronin start.

after winnng the battle, all the ronin surrender themselves to Shogunate authority. they are sentenced to death since they violated the Shogun's prohibition.

the power of loyalty of all the 47 ronin is so impressive. even though their master was already dead but they still do their best to get revenge on his behalf due to the unfairness behind his death. they still try to get avenged even they know they will die in the end since they violated the prohibition by Shogun. 

it is really good material, since it shows that the power of loyalty can surpass the feeling of fears to face death. but, it does not mean we need to fight like them. it is because in my point of view loyalty means we keep the faith on someone. we trust him and have a strong feeling to support him on what ever he do. so, it is applicable in our daily life especially in the any form of relationships.

in conclusion, lets try to become a loyal person.. :P

MOVIE TIME !!

Watching movie is the most excited time.. it is because by watching movie I can learn a lot of new things indirectly and even in more relaxing condition. it is really helpful in developing my english skill. so, for this time my lecturer had shown us a 35 years old movie..

basically this movie is about the difference between the live style of the Bushmen and the civilized men. The Bushmen lived in a place called 'dessert' while the civilized men live in a city that full with technologies.

The Bushmen have their own freedom. They can do what ever they want without worrying the time, the day, or anything. It is because they don't even have clock or calendar. it is contradict with the civilized men. On 8:00am they should look busy. On 10:15am they should take a 15 minute break. It just look like the civilized men do not have their own freedom to manage their time. And somehow I feel a little bit sympathy toward them.

after the movie ended, there are two things that I can conclude. first, it is about the to appreciate on whatever we get. Next, the technology will continue develop and become more complex in the future.

appreciating something is really important especially in our daily life. It is because when we know how to appreciate something. For instance a trash can be a gold for those who know to appreciate it. Just like how the bushmen who found a bottle that had been thrown by a pilot. they used it wisely. they used that bottle to produce a sound and even used it to crash something. For me, they really know how to appreciate something compare to the civilized men. they bushed men are also creative..

Next, the development of technology will continue and it will become more complex. just like the narrator had stated, " they will continue to develop something complex in order to make their life easier ". actually I don't really remember the original statement that had made by the narrator. But, i am pretty sure that they  have the same meaning. hahaha... okay, nowadays, the development of technology can be seen clearly that they have become complex after a few decades had past. For example the development of phone.
