ONE STEP CLOSER~

Before i go to US, i think i need to make a lot of research regarding the place that i will be studying, how is the culture there and many other things even though it is our administrator's job to decide our placement. hahaha.. Actually it does not really matter for me since I believe they will send us at a good and a suitable place. But still i want to share about a few community colleges that have successfully attract my intention. if i'm lucky enough, i might get the opportunity to go there :) before that, lets take a moment to look at the map of United State.

basically there are 50 states in US and it is the world's fourth-largest country. So, logically there more than hundreds community colleges there, it s quite difficult to choose the best one. so, here is the list of the community colleges that i prefer. *(^o^)*

#1.Walla Walla Community College

Walla Walla Community College is located in southeastern Washington. At WWCC the academic courses are transferable to most 4-year institutions.besides, the current annual enrollment which is over 13000 ( new, returning, international students ) i think it is quite competitive but I still have a high chance to get enroll.

besides, the minimum requirement of TOEFL ibt for application is 61. so, i find a bit relief because the requirement that has been put by mara in order for all of us to fly is at least 90. no matter what happened if i can pass mara's requirement then i also manage to pass WWCC's requirement.

#2. Ellsworth Community College

here, the second community college that i has choose, Ellsworth Community College. it is located in Iowa Fall, Iowa. this college has the agreements with Iowa State University, the Universty of Iowa and the University of Northern Iowa, along with other colleges. the credits transfer is to almost any four-year college.

for the degree program that they offer, it has been divided into 5 and one of it is Mathematical & Science. under the program Mathematical & Science it has been divided again into more specific major. the one that perfectly match with me is Pre-engineering. and what makes me happy is in the career info that they have provided it states that the employment opportunities in Civil Engineering are expected to increase about 20% through 2022.

#3. Foothill College

Foothill College, located in Los Altos Hills, California. It is a part of the Foothill-De Anza Community College District. What make me interested to this college is how the campus has been designed. The campus has been awarded for its beautiful Japanese-inspired campus and unique architectural design.

Next, the college offer 79 associate degree program and 107 certificate program throughout 6 divisions of study which are:-
  • biological & health science
  • business & social science
  • fine art & communication
  • language art
  • physical science
  • mathematics & engineering ( this is what i want  ^_^ )
On top of that, it also have English as a Second Language ( ESL ) program that allow foreign students to earn 2-degree and prepare for 4-years college. And its transfer rate which is 62% is the best in the state of California.

To know more about these community colleges, lets visit their official website together with me.

https://ecc.iavalley.edu/ - Ellsworth Community College
http://www.foothill.edu/index.php - Foothill Community  College

so, as all have been stated, the community colleges that i have choose have a high transfer rate and their environment are really conducive for me to study. i really hope that i can go to one of these colleges if i have the chances :D

bye.. (^o^)

WHAT I'M GOING TU STUDY ??

studying is the HARDEST thing to do when you're a student

Alhamdulillah now I had done the 2 biggest examinations as Madpp's student. the result of toefl will be released in a few days and i really hope that everything will be okay... hahaha :)

regardless of that, i have realized that i'll learn something more difficult in the future as i want to take the civil engineering course. from what i had heard before, if you want to become an engineer, you must expert both in math and physic.

when i looked at all the formulas in math and physic, i feel i want to cry.. T_T. but, when i recall back on what my add math's teacher had said about the relationship between math and physic, i'm a little bit relief. besides, I also believe that there is nothing impossible to do if we believe in ourselves and put a lot of effort on it.

so, let's take a look on some of the subject that i will learn in the future... :)

I GOT THE MONEY MONEY MONEY :)

As i'm doing some research, surprisingly I  found that civil engineer is one of the the job that have a high salary in Malaysia. that is because the average pay for a Civil Engineer in Kuala Lumpur is approximately RM 48,829 per year. which means around 4k for each month.

Besides, the average pay for a Civil Engineer in united state is around $61,574 per year. in my opinion, i have made a good choice since the demand for this job is quite high and its salary is good. So, hopefully i do not need to face any trouble to find job later.

engineer-population ratios for Malaysia and several advanced countries.

it also has been stated that it is important for Malaysia to increase her production of engineers at a very significant rate in order to achieve a comparable index with the developed nations.

okay, that is all for this time... Bye2..

CIVIL ENGINEERING ^_^

it looks interesting right??

Okay after a long time i did not update this precious blog, so today i'm gonna explain a little bit about civil engineering.

First, the word civil is actually come from the word civilization which mean the civil engineer is someone who will work for the civilian. It deals with the design, construction, and maintenance of the physical and naturally built environment, including works like roads, bridges, canal, dam and building.

Actually, i never dream to be become an engineer. But, after doing some research on this course, I managed to develop my interest into it. It is because i realize that in the future I will become someone who will turn the dream into reality. on top of that, i'll be very happy when the things that I gave a lot of effort on are advantageous to other people. besides, it is also because the endless support that have been given by all my family members to me.

Thus, i have made a decision to pursue my study in civil engineer. I hope everything will go smoothly. ^-^
