ARE YOU A DIVERGENT ??

It's looked interesting isn't it ?

I had heard some of my friend said “ Divergent “ before this. I was so curious about it hence I decided to watch a movie called Divergent on last Wednesday. After watching the introduction of that movie, finally I managed to understand the meaning behind the word of divergent. Divergent is a very rare faction which means the one who is a divergent have all the ability that each faction the possessed. The faction had been made in order to keep the peace of their country.

So, I will explain a little bit about the factions:-

Amity farm the land they’re all about kindness and always happy

Candor value honesty  and order

Dauntless which act as the protector, the soldier and police

Abnegation who lead a simple life, selfless and dedicated to helping others.

Erudite are the smart ones, the ones who value knowledge and logic  

The main character of this movie, Tris is a Divergent. But, she was told not to tell anyone about it although to her parent. So, during the selection of the faction she choosed to join the Dauntless while her younger brother joined the Erudite. She needed to leave her family and joined all the Dauntless to practise. After that, she met with Four who gave her a lot of helps. Tris needed to compete with the other Dauntless in order to maintain her position and avoided her to become factionless. Finally, she was able to accomplish her mission and hide her identity as a Divergent through her endless efforts.

If I were in the main character’s position, I would like to remain in the Abnegation. Basically, it is because since I was born in Abnegation faction I believe that Abnegation will perfectly fit me. Besides, Abnegation is a faction that will help all the people around them without asking for return. I think that I can avoid being selfish and also I can give something beneficial to the society. On top of that, I also believe that all the people in the Abnegation are the one that are suitable to lead a country.

Last but not least, there is a quote that I loved very much from this movie.

It shows that we are really need to learn how to overcome and control our fears in order to be free from it.
