Before i go to US, i think i need to make a lot of research regarding the place that i will be studying, how is the culture there and many other things even though it is our administrator's job to decide our placement. hahaha.. Actually it does not really matter for me since I believe they will send us at a good and a suitable place. But still i want to share about a few community colleges that have successfully attract my intention. if i'm lucky enough, i might get the opportunity to go there :) before that, lets take a moment to look at the map of United State.
basically there are 50 states in US and it is the world's fourth-largest country. So, logically there more than hundreds community colleges there, it s quite difficult to choose the best one. so, here is the list of the community colleges that i prefer. *(^o^)*
#1.Walla Walla Community College
Walla Walla Community College is located in southeastern Washington. At WWCC the academic courses are transferable to most 4-year institutions.besides, the current annual enrollment which is over 13000 ( new, returning, international students ) i think it is quite competitive but I still have a high chance to get enroll.
besides, the minimum requirement of TOEFL ibt for application is 61. so, i find a bit relief because the requirement that has been put by mara in order for all of us to fly is at least 90. no matter what happened if i can pass mara's requirement then i also manage to pass WWCC's requirement.
#2. Ellsworth Community College
here, the second community college that i has choose, Ellsworth Community College. it is located in Iowa Fall, Iowa. this college has the agreements with Iowa State University, the Universty of Iowa and the University of Northern Iowa, along with other colleges. the credits transfer is to almost any four-year college.
for the degree program that they offer, it has been divided into 5 and one of it is Mathematical & Science. under the program Mathematical & Science it has been divided again into more specific major. the one that perfectly match with me is Pre-engineering. and what makes me happy is in the career info that they have provided it states that the employment opportunities in Civil Engineering are expected to increase about 20% through 2022.
#3. Foothill College
Foothill College, located in Los Altos Hills, California. It is a part of the Foothill-De Anza Community College District. What make me interested to this college is how the campus has been designed. The campus has been awarded for its beautiful Japanese-inspired campus and unique architectural design.
Next, the college offer 79 associate degree program and 107 certificate program throughout 6 divisions of study which are:-
- biological & health science
- business & social science
- fine art & communication
- language art
- physical science
- mathematics & engineering ( this is what i want ^_^ )
To know more about these community colleges, lets visit their official website together with me.

so, as all have been stated, the community colleges that i have choose have a high transfer rate and their environment are really conducive for me to study. i really hope that i can go to one of these colleges if i have the chances :D
bye.. (^o^)
